30 Day Blog Photo Challenge

Today is Day One of our 30 Day Picture Challenge. I am excited about being part of the challenge because it is something different from our usual topics, reviews and giveaways.

10 Facts About Me!

1.) I am obsessed with Sprinkles!! I don’t know where my obsession started but I have more Sprinkles than I will ever use and still buy more.

2.) When I was in school I despised Math. I actually still do. Anything and EVERYTHING about it. No matter how hard I tried to understand it I could not understand it. I LOVE art, biology and anything that had to do with Technology!

3.)I am a Photographer at heart! I love taking pictures! From insects to my kids. You can find beauty anywhere and being able to capture it is talent.

4.) I don’t like ice in my soft drinks. Only Iced Tea or Lemonade. I hate how the ice melts in soft drinks and makes them flat and watery.

5.) I hate being named Kathy or Kat. Ever since I was little it annoyed me. I constantly correct people when they call me Kathy or Kat. I was named after my mom. The greatest lady I will ever know and I love that she named me Kathleen after her.

6.) My favorite movie has always been and still is Labyrinth. I have several copies of it just in case something happens to one of them.

7.) I hate tomatoes. Unless they are made into Tomato Soup, pizza or sauce.

8.) I ran away from home once. I was 6. I got into a stupid fight with my mom over something really stupid that I can’t even remember. It was probably not being allowed to have more dessert. I packed my little red plastic suitcase with some toys. I made it as far as our apartment hallway stairs (7 feet from our apartment door) and sat there until she came for me because I was scared and didn’t really want to run away from home.

9.) I have 2 favorite books. To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee and Lord of the Flies by William Golding. If it wasn’t for my mom reading Lord of the Flies to me, I would have never read the book the first time.

10.) I collect Elephants. Everything elephants. I have a towel is in the shape of an elephant. I probably have over 500 different elephant items and each one has a special meaning.
